shor-t's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Trains and Elevators I was on my way and took the train. I thought we were going rather fast and there were trains all around us. For some reason I thought I should stand on the very front of the train. The conductor came out with me and I said something about how there were a lot of derailments. He said that no passenger trains ever derail, just the cargo trains. And moments later we were coming up really fast on a slower cargo train. The conductor tried to jump into the train but someone had locked the door. We rammed the other train and went flying off the tracks. It must have caused us to get about 30 feet of air and the train piled up on the hard sand. I wondered if I should jump and risk having the train land on me or stay on and have the train land on me. It happened so fast though that before I knew it I was back on my feet walkinginto the nearest office building. I went way up to the top looking for Adrienne. She wasn't upstairs so I went to the balcony. I could see some cops and Sherry Duguay riding a horse. The cops were giving out a j-walking ticket or something and I threw a rock at them and yelled and yelled about how they should help the people on the train instead of the stupid tickets. Sherry's horse spooked and she fell off, hitting her head. I ran for the elevator, which took forever.
