shor-t's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Merc-less I could see Ashley from my window and there were tears in her eyes. When I went down to see her, I noticed the cover had been pulled off the merc and it was parked in the alley. I thought maybe the wind had blown the cover off or something, but then I noticed the battery laying to the side. I looked under the hood and the whole motor was gone. It took a moment for this to sink in. Someone had stolen the motor and two of the wheels. I got very upset and started to cry. I asked the neighbour and he said he saw someone in a minivan working on the car about 20 minutes ago. They had just left but there was no way I'd ever find them.
